Rachel founded Heart For Touch to provide calming, compassionate massage care that supports comfort, connection, and wellbeing. She believes therapeutic touch can bring peace during times of illness, recovery, stress and transition. Her approach is gentle, attentive, and centered on creating a safe space where every client feels cared for, respected, and supported.

Her passion for end-of-life care grew through personally caring for friends during their decline and final days. While traveling to support a hospitalized friend at the end of life, Rachel felt deeply drawn to learn more about palliative care and the role therapeutic touch can play in providing comfort and dignity. In February 2026, she traveled to Dallas, Texas, to study with Cynthia Heep Spence, a respected expert in palliative massage therapy. After four days of intensive continuing education, Rachel knew palliative massage was not only an important part of her future practice, but also a true calling.

At Heart For Touch, Rachel offers nurturing massage therapy rooted in compassion, presence, and human connection. Her palliative care practice welcomes not only patients, but also their loved ones and caregivers, recognizing that care, rest, and healing are equally important for family members walking alongside them. She is passionate about creating peaceful experiences that help clients feel comforted, grounded, and deeply cared for. Whether someone is seeking relaxation, relief, or supportive touch during challenging seasons of life, she strives to meet each person with warmth and dignity. 

Rachel believes caring touch can be restorative for both body and spirit, and she welcomes clients of all faith traditions into her practice. As a Catholic provider, she is also able to support the unique spiritual and emotional needs of Catholic and Christian patients and families when desired. Her calling to massage therapy and palliative care is deeply rooted in the Corporal Works of Mercy, especially the call to Visit the Sick. Through Heart For Touch, Rachel’s mission is to provide gentle, compassionate care that brings comfort, peace, and moments of rest in the midst of life’s most difficult seasons.
